Passengers on a Sky Express aircraft got a fright just 15 minutes after take-off.
Lemnos FM 100 reports that a “deafening bang” shook the aircraft making it lose its balance and tilt at an angle.
The passengers started to panic and were told to put on their life jackets by members of the crew.
Passengers began to give courage to each other and held hands while a person having an anxiety attack ripped off a handle from a seat, Limnos FM 100 reported.
The pilot managed to fly the plane back to Eleftherios Venizelos airport using only one engine, where ambulances and paramedics attended to passengers left unconscious following the ordeal.
Sky Express transferred people in a shuttles bus to a different aircraft do they could board a different flight to Lemnos island.
