A historic video featuring Greek leader Eleftherios Venizelos has emerged from the University of South Carolina’s Moving Image Research Collections (MIRC) that preserves films and videos produced outside the American feature film industry.
The video features the charismatic statesman at the sidelines of the Hague conference of August 1929, giving a speech in English.
Mr Venizelos slips up towards the end of his speech and bursts out in laughter.
The video was featured on the Facebook page of Panos Sotiriou and was shared countless of times.
