We’ve gathered some random snapshots to showcase April. It was a month filled with Easter celebrations and a special visit by Evzones to Adelaide for Anzac Day. The Greek guards also marched around with the Epitaph at St George before making their way back to Greece today.
Anzac Day celebrations were particularly special with celebrations around Greece and Australia, showing the ties that both countries share. The number of Greek soldiers who fought for their new country in WWI was particularly impressive, and Neos Kosmos also spoke to modern veterans who told us of their incredible tales.
Australia’s PM Scott Morrison announced that 18 May would be the date of the next elections.
