Greek American Philip Nicozisis, the chairman of Nico Properties Group, has three passions: business, veganism and US President Donald Trump.
An experienced businessman and real estate investor, Mr Nicozisis is also a published songwriter and political activist with a regular speaking schedule where he presents talks on “The Ethics of Eating” and the “Case for Vegan”.
“A plant-based diet is in profound alignment with Republican principles because it includes taking responsibility for our health. From a public policy standpoint I like the idea of maybe saving up to two trillion dollars a year on health care,” Mr Nicozisis told the Greek Reporter.
Mr Nicozisis has also been a guest at Mar-a-Lago, referred to as Trump’s Winter White House in Florida, frequented by those closest to President Trump.
Mr Nicozisis parents are from Epirus and Kastoria in Northern Greece, and he says he grew up eating animal-based foods. He grew up in Long Island, New York, and also lived in Lancaster Pennsylvania, however currently resides in Florida. For the last 10 years he has been vegan and points to philosophers like Hippocrates, Pythagoras, Socrates and Plato who knew that the vegan diet was the right way for a good mind, healthy body and peaceful society.

His recent book “Have Laptop, Will Travel: Diary of a Digital Nomad” takes readers around the world with vivid descriptions of the cities where he lived. It has already climbed the bestseller lists in seven countries.
While living in twelve cities around the world for a month at a time, he used the Happy Cow app to find plant-based restaurants and grocery stories.
