A Saudi billionaire bought the luxury Mayfair apartment which hosted Jackie Kennedy for £18.6 million so that his daughter could live there while she studies in London.
The luxury 5-bedroom residence has a 5,000 sq ft first-floor which overlooks Grosvenor Square and a 60 ft balcony with a south-facing terrace, library, three grand reception rooms and a large family kitchen. It may be the most expensive and luxurious student accommodation ever bought.
In its heyday the property would be filled with A-listers. It also included a small living unit for Artemis Onassis, Aristotle Onassis’ sister, and was also visited by Princess Lee Radziwill, Jackie Kennedy’s sister. Jackie also regularly stayed here while visiting her daughter, Caroline, studying in London at the time.
