With the number of Covid-19 deaths climbing to 102 on Friday the overall toll for Greece reached 3,472.
The total number of confirmed cases sits at 123,000 with 23,074 recoveries. Numbers have been dropping, however, they are still high, at 1,395 new cases per day according to the National Organization for Public Health (EODY).
At the time this article was written 583 patients with an average age of 66 were intubated and 711 patients have left the ICU.
Most cases are community transmissions, while only nine of the new cases were reported at the country’s entry points.
In spite of the large volume of cases, according to EODY, since the beginning of the pandemic 2,557,145 PCR tests have been conducted, including 322,615 rapid antigen tests.
