The Greek Festival of Sydney is throwing a huge free Greek party at the Enmore Theatre on Friday 5 March.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Covid safe event and enjoy live Greek music as they launch their 2021 programme of cultural events.
Don’t miss performances from George Doukas and the D Strings and Iho Nyx, as well as Greek dancing performances.
Following the difficult year that was 2020, the Greek Festival of Sydney is very excited to be able to produce a slew of cultural events in 2021. We are, however, very sad to not be able to present Greek Fest Darling Harbour for the first time in its history.
Due to venue restrictions, they are unable to offer the event that Sydneysiders have come to love but they intend to return to Tumbalong Park bigger and better in 2022. With the support of the NSW Government and their many sponsors and supporters, they are able to produce a high quality event at one of Sydney’s most loved venues, the Enmore Theatre, and offer entry to the public at no cost.
Indubitably one of the most prominent multicultural events in Sydney, and a must do in the events calendar, The Greek Festival of Sydney will offer a robust programme of events in 2021.
The Greek Festival of Sydney is an initiative of the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW, which dedicates this year’s festival to the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the declaration of the Greek War of Independence.
