The Gunners have not hidden their feelings over Friday’s Europa League draw.
“Arsenal will face Olympiacos in the Europa League last-16. LOL,” is the opening sentence of Arseblog’s post on the result.
It is the sixth time they draw the Reds in the European competition, including at last year’s round of 32, that didn’t leave them with the best of memories.
Olympiacos had then managed to secure win of a thriller match after Youssef El-Arabi scored in the final minute of extra-time.
Stating ‘determined to fight’, the Reds are hoping for a repeat of their ‘legendary goals’ this time.

Out of the ten 10 individual matches played in the past 12 years, both teams have won five each.
But Arsenal has lost the last two at home to Olympiacos.
The Gunners played a home game on Thursday at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium and will be returning there to face their Greek opponent as the away team on 11 March.
A week later, on 18 March they will host Olympiacos in London.
Whether Olympiacos’ strong record at the Emirates will continue uninterrupted this year it remains to be seen.
But coach Pedro Martins stated they are going to do everything possible to progress in the competition.
“It’s a coincidence,” he commented on the draw result pairing them up again with Arsenal.
“We need to do everything we can. Our job as best as we can and give it our best shot. And obviously they are a strong opponent with a big club.”
