Victoria’s state government is providing more support to help multicultural and multifaith communities to celebrate, share and preserve their culture and traditions.
Victoria’s Multicultural Affairs Minister Ros Spence announced grants of up to $50,000 through the Multicultural Festivals and Events Program to help local organisations host COVIDSafe events – both face-to-face and digital.
“This funding will help multicultural communities share their culture and traditions, and play an important role in boosting Victoria’s economy,” Ms Spence said.
The Program recognises the important role community connection and celebration play in all communities, and enables Victorians to celebrate the diversity and multiculturalism that makes us strong.
