Professor Vasso Apostolopoulos is currently the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Research Partnerships at Victoria University, and a key figure in immunology and research.

AHEPA Victoria Unit Athena 2 held a ladies luncheon on Sunday 18 April in support of Breast Cancer Vaccine research and development to be undertaken by Ms Apostolopoulos.

Professor Vasso Apostolopoulos spoke at the luncheon along with Maria Kavouris, President of Unit Athena, who thanked Professor Apostolopoulos for sharing insights into her research.

Ahepan Mary Mitrakas performed duties as MC, ensuring that the event was a success.

All up $15,150 were raised for breast cancer vaccine research and development, an excellent result bearing in mind attendee restrictions due to COVID-19 venue requirements.
