The Milwaukee Bucks swept the first round of NBA’s Eastern Conference, taking out Miami Heat with a 120-103 win and enacting their revenge after they were knocked out by their opponents at last years semi’s.

The victory comes right after the Bucks handed Heat their largest home playoff loss in franchise history.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s triple-double helped see his team through to the semifinals, along with fellow teammate Brook Lopez’s game-high 25 points.

Despite the Heat’s efforts to limit two-time MVP in the first half, allowing him only five points on 1-for-7 shooting, he was able to show off his passing skills marking a career high of 13 total assists in one game.

“It’s a great moment for us, winning 4-0, and beating the team that beat us last year,” Antetokounmpo said in a post match interview. “But at the end of the day we have a long way to go.”

This game marked some more career highs for the 26-year-old being the first time he recorded double-digit assists in a postseason game.

The ‘Greek Freak’ became one of only three players in franchise history to record a triple-double in the playoffs, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Paul Pressey.

“Being able to affect the game in multiple ways, and not just getting into the paint and dunking,” Antetokounmpo said. “Don’t get me wrong. If I could dunk every single play, I’d try to dunk every single play. But just being mature, having my head up and looking for guys when they’re open was big for us.”

Antetokounmpo and his teammates have been able to set themselves up with at least a full week of rest, before they meet the Brooklyn Nets or Boston Celtics in the semifinals.
