Police have found Con, the missing man, who had absconded from Fronditha Care’s Templestowe Facility.
The police had earlier appealed for public assistance to help locate the 88-year-old man.
He had last been seen at an address on Omar Street just before 10pm on Thursday, 3 June, wearing blue striped pyjamas and a maroon dressing gown.
There were concerns for his welfare due to his age and a recent medical operation.
Fronditha Care released a statement about the resident:
“Fronditha Care residents’ health and safety are of paramount importance to us, and we are working closely with the family and police. We are hopeful that with all the resources put into the search, he will be safely returned.”
