Greece’s men’s water polo team is returning home having conquered a much deserved second place at the Tokyo Olympics.
During the final, it was Greece’s defense that cost the team the first place against Serbia that deployed its most experienced players.
The Serbs managed to return from -3 finding solutions to break Greece’s walls maintaining the gold status they reached in Rio.

Greece played a tough and equal game until the last quarter when it bent to second place losing the final 13-10.
In another pool, Hungary took the bronze medal over Spain a little earlier this arvo.
Overall, Greece returns from Japan with two gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
