Australia has hit a total of 55 medals today and Greece is polishing off another bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Efstratios Nikolaidis has made Greeks across the world proud, winning third place in the shot put F20 finals.

The 35-year-old threw the shot put 15.93 meters behind first and second placed Ukrainians Maksym Koval  and Oleksandr Yarovyi.

Now all eyes are on Grigoris Polychronidis who qualified for the final of the boccia BC3 and has secured a medal, but we will have to find out which one he will snag.

Australia has made huge strides, adding another 12 medals to the tally in just one day. Winning the 50th medal for the Aussie was 60-year-old cycling star Carol Cooke who took out silver in the women’s T1-T2 time trial.
