American basketballer Eric Lockett, 26, has signed to join Aris Thessaloniki from British Basketball League team the Bristol Flyers.
While playing for Bristol which he joined in 2019, the 196cm-tall shooting guard played averaged 15 points, seven rebounds and 4.2 assists per game for the 2020-21 season. He amassed 26 points in 38 minutes in the game against Sheffield Sharks in April. During the season he reached double figures 26 times in 28 games and made 20 or more points in four games.
In the 2019-20 season he averaged 14.5 points, six rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He scored double figures in all four games that he played that season.
He has played basketball in Qatar and was on the US College basketball (NCAAP) circuit from 2014 to 2019 when he played for the George Mason Patriots, Florida International Golden Panthers and North Carolina State Wolfpack.

Lockett joins the team coached by Ioannis Kastritis ahead of the first-round game of the A1 League season which begins on 2 October against Panathinaikos. It is the 67th year in a row that the team is playing in the top tier.
