Victoria confirmed1,007 new COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths, from 13,814 active cases of the virus in Victoria.
The figure notes a rise in numbers.
From the active cases, there are currently 34 people on a ventilator from 63 in intensive care, and 337 people are in hospital. There are a further 65 people in intensive care, but there infections were no longer considered active.
There were 6,315 doses of vaccine administered at state-run sites yesterday, as well as more vaccinations at GP clinics and other venues.
There are currently 88 per cent of people vaccinated in Victoria from the population aged 12 and over.
