The school year is winding down, and Greek language classes are stopping for summer holidays.
A group of students from the Greek Community of Melbourne and Victoria’s VCE Doncaster Saturday class with their teachers Christo Raspa and Jenny Iliou decided to celebrate the end of the school year with a small performance at the Fairfield amphitheatre.
Currently there is a campaign to heritage list this significant site which has a close connection with Greeks living in Melbourne.
The Greek Community of Melbourne is highly supportive of this cause and the visit by the students provided an opportunity for the younger generation to enjoy the the amphitheatre and its surrounds.
