Pandemic or no pandemic nothing was going to stop Santa Claus visiting the children at the Pankoaki Brotherhood of Victoria on Sunday, 5 December.
The event was held at the Kos Club and were there to witness the man in red’s arrival. Santa, Thomas Tellis, was helped by young Angelique (aged 10) to distribute gifts to the children while their grandparents and parents watched.
Little six-month-old Sophia did no harm to her chances of a gift as she tugged on Santa’s beard, after all she is Santa’s grandchild.
Along with the distribution of the gifts, a lunch of roast pork and vegetables was laid out while those who were fasting received calamari and chips while the children had hot dogs and chips.
It was time of laughter and togetherness as members of the brotherhood wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a “pandemic-free” 2022.
