Australian foreign minister Marise Payne is soon to meet her Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias in Athens on Wednesday afternoon (Greek time).
The Athens Macedonian News Agency said the ministers will meet with their delegations and are due to hold a joint press conference at 1.20pm Athens time.
The ministers’ agenda will focus on cooperation across a wide range of issues that link the two countries including the coordination of their activities within international organisations, examining developments in the Indo-Pacific region, Greece as well as issues affecting the Greek-Australian community.

The two ministers made first made contact by telephone in October this year when they discussed matter relating to international maritime law as well as environmental issues and developments in their respective regions.
Ms Payne will then travel to Brussels for talks with the European Union’s High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell Fontelles.
