Fresh from their qualification to the Europa League knockout phase, Greek Super league leaders Olympiacos will go head-to-head this weekend with one of the strongest teams of the season so far, Aris, at Karaiskakis stadium.
Olympiacos’ unbeaten run in the league will be put to the test in the 13th round by the Thessaloniki side on Monday morning (Australian time), who have managed three consecutive wins in all competitions.
The Red and Whites have a slight disadvantage after playing an away European tie against Antwerp which they lost 1-0 this morning.
The Piraeus club had already guaranteed its progression with nine points in the group stage to the UEFA Europa League Knockout playoffs, where they will now face one of the third-place Champions League sides for a spot in the Round of 16.

PAOK welcomes Lamia to their home ground on Monday morning and, after three consecutive losses, they will be determined to prove themselves with a commanding win.
The Black and Whites go into this weekend with good morale after they secured their progression in the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) with a 2-0 home win over Lincoln Red Imps.
They finish second with 11 points and will now battle one of the third-place Europa League teams to qualify for the UECL Round of 16.
Panathinaikos hosts Atromitos on Sunday morning and they will be hungry for a win against the 13th placed side after a disappointing loss to AEK where they dominated possession without providing any real attacking threat.
AEK travel away to face Asteras Tripolis, and they will look for a win to keep the pressure on Olympiacos who are still six points ahead.
PAS Giannina match up with Volos and their spirits could not be higher after breaking into the top three with a 1-0 away victory over Lamia last week.
Panetolikos and Ionikos face each other in an 11th vs10th fixture, with the Nikaia side looking to build on their marvellous 3-2 success over the Thessaloniki giants, PAOK.
In the round’s final match, Apollon Smyrnis go up against OFI where they will be desperately searching for a second win this season.
Cypriot football
In news from Cyprus’ teams, it was heartbreak for Anorthosis whose 1-1 draw at Belgrade to Partizan officially knocks them out of the UECL.
They had slim chances of qualifying ahead of the Serbian side, needing all three points, and the Cypriot club were unable to pull off the miracle. They finish third in their group on six points.
Omonia hosted Almaty Kazakstan in a dead rubber UECL match with their 0-0 draw enough to ensure a third-place finish in the group with four points.
