As the fight for the title is almost assured, the focus of the Greek Super League has now shifted to the European spots where PAS Giannina’s top four credentials will be put to the test by PAOK, who is level on 22 points with them.

The “Ajax” of Epirus will face the Thessaloniki giants on Thursday morning in the 14th round’s most anticipated battle between the Super League’s third and fourth place sides.

Giannina are aiming to complete the double over PAOK, having defeated them 0-1 at Toumba in a shock win at the season’s premiere.

The Black and Whites, meanwhile, will want to re-establish themselves as a threat in the second half of the championship, having lost five matches this term already.

Olympiacos are looking to continue their unbeaten run when they match up with second last Atromitos in what looms as an easy win for the league leaders.

AEK will want to return to winning ways on Friday morning after their draw last round to Asteras Tripolis, travelling to Nikaia to play Ionikos who themselves earned a come-from-behind 2-2 tie against Panetolikos in the previous matchday.

Panathinaikos are set to face away bottom place Apollon Smyrnis in a match they will desperately want all three points. It should be noted that there is a slight concern as to whether the match will go ahead, as the home side’s previous fixture with OFI was postponed due to COVID-19 cases found among their staff and players.

OFI hosts Aris in another even match-up this round with both sides split by a single point, though the Cretans do have a game in hand.

Asteras Tripolis welcome Panetolikos to their ground on Wednesday morning in the round’s first fixture, with the clubs separated by only two points.

Lamia play Volos at home in Thursday’s first match where the visitors will be determined to make up for their loss to Giannina last round in a game where they took the lead twice.

No matches have been played at the time of publication.
