A 59-year-old father allegedly killed himself with a shotgun after friends and fellow villagers showed him video footage of his son having sex with a man. They allegedly mocked him over the footage and this may have contributed to his death.
Sources on the Dodecanese island said authorities were investigating the case after the man was found by villagers lying dead beside a shotgun on Tuesday afternoon.
They said that the man had been shown the footage some days before he allegedly killed himself and had been mocked over it.

A friend said that in his last days the man had become withdrawn and often lost his temper. He also told friends that he wanted to sell his animals. He said the man was well-known and liked in his village.
