Victorian Greek welfare provider, PRONIA has organised an Open Career Day for aged care community workers and for other available jobs this Thursday 3 March. Participants will have the opportunity to be informed about how to become a community worker, as well as on employment opportunities and career prospects within PRONIA.
During the event, the human resources team will provide information on available jobs, training programs, and career development opportunities within the organisation. In addition, presentations will be given in order to familiarise the candidates with the services offered and the position of the community care employee.
Those interested in working for PRONIA are encouraged to bring along their resume on the day, as the personnel department will inform all suitable candidates for jobs that may arise in the future.
“The most important asset for PRONIA is its human resources,” Ms Nikki Efremidis, Deputy Director and Director of Aged and Coordinated Care, said.
“Remaining committed to our goal of being the employer of choice in the field of aged care, PRONIA offers competitive packages of remuneration and benefits, training, as well as opportunities for professional development within the organisation. We invite all those interested to visit the Recruitment Open Day, and to get to know us better.”
As part of PRONIA’s career programs, a workshop on International Women’s Day will help women identify, apply for and land the type of job they want. The workshop is focusing on the needs of newly arrived Greek speaking women and will be delivered in Greek.
The course will cover job search sites, effective CV writing and presentation, the right types of references for the Australian market, English language lessons, and more.
