The 2021 Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HACCI) Excellence Award winners were acknowledged in an intimate gathering that took place at the Botanical Hotel on 17 February.

Philanthropist Gina Poulos was presented the Community Services Award, and the Sport Award went to the Double Eagle Golf Club, which is active both in sports and philanthropy.
The 2021 HACCI Excellence Awards recipients had been announced online in November, through a series of social media posts, but the easing of COVID-related restrictions prompted the special ‘intimate’ event.
One of HACCI’s youngest board members, Demi Markogiannakis served as the event’s MC, while HACCI Treasurer Peter Zervos presented the awards to the recipients.
The 2022 HACCI Excellence Awards will be announced in November, at the organisation’s annual gala ball, which is taking place again, after being postponed for two years, due to the pandemic.
The nomination process will open during the following months.
