The Dodecanese federation along with members of the Dodecanese islands attended a memorial service to remember those who sacrificed their lives 74 ago so that today’s Greeks could enjoy freedom, the right to practice faith and speak their language.
The members of the club celebrated the 74th anniversary of the unification of the islands with the motherland Greece as the island of the Dodecanese were the last areas to join Greece after the Greek War of Independence in 1821.
