On 9 March 2022, Father Roman held an agiasmos (blessing of the waters) for the start of new school year at the Greek Ethnic School of St Anna, Gold Coast.

Students, teachers, parents, and administrative support, all gathered in Church for a prayer and the agiasmos.

Father Roman also conducted a religious education lesson for the students to help them understand the meaning behind this tradition.

The beginning of 2022 has seen the parish enroll many new students from families that have re-located to the Gold Coast from interstate, particularly from Melbourne, Sydney, and Darwin.

Classes are held every Wednesday afternoon with class levels from Prep to Year 12. Enrolments are on-going throughout the year.
