More than 110 young people attended the Go Youth Melbourne trivia night at St Catherine’s in Malvern East Melbourne on Saturday, 2 July to raise funds for the the District of Melbourne’s new outreach program Five Loaves.

The volunteer program provides cooked meals for people sleeping rough or are unable to afford to eat a healthy meal.

The Five Loaves program aims to help the homeless, people with dependencies, struggling families, asylum seekers, refugees, people with disabilities or anyone who wants a good meal, a chat within the District of Melbourne.

The evening which marked Go Youth Melbourne’s first major event included nine rounds of trivia night activities that included a quiz and building the tallest tower using paper straws and sticky tape.

Participants to the event were also treated to a big selection of food and desserts.

Raffles were held during the night for prizes donated for the event.
