A woman that reportedly fell into Pinios River, Greece was pulled out dead, according to the local authorities.
Rescuers were alerted by passersby who saw the woman slip on a wooden footpath and fall into the water.
After pulling her out of the river she was transferred to Larissa’s General hospital in Thessaly where doctors confirmed her death.
The local police station is further investigating the circumstances of the accident.
