The 42nd Semaphore Greek Festival in Adelaide is set to take place on the weekend of 14 and 15 January 2023 at Semaphore Beach.

The Port Adelaide Greek Orthodox Community and their team of over 300 volunteers have been working tirelessly to showcase and celebrate Greek culture and heritage within South Australia’s broader multicultural context.

Semaphore is SA’s most popular multicultural festival held with the support of state and local government and a new partnership with the Bank of Sydney.

This year’s campaign titled “happy, again” #happyagain is welcoming everyone regardless of age and background for an immersion Greek-themed interactive competitions, live music by local artists and traditional dance groups from all over the state.

Hellenic flavours the likes of haloumi bites, souvlaki, dolmathes and loukoumathes will be on offer with traditional coffee and drinks while the Port Adelaide Greek Dance Academy takes centre stage with distinct performances to live Greek music.

Presented by Just Gold and Theodora Maios this year’s celebration of Greekness will be covered live on the official social media pages, allowing audiences from around the country and the world.
