The Greek language and Culture school of the Greek Orthodox Community of Box Hill & Districts invites children of every age (from prep to VCE) to join them in a linguistic immersion journey that promises to cultivate feelings of love and admiration for all things Hellenic.

Educators make sure to go beyond simply teaching the Greek language.

“Students have the opportunity to learn about folk dancing, traditions followed in Greece and religious rituals through a wide range of events and activities. We do egg-dying, make Easter candles with them, knead bread the old ‘Greek’ way and learn about history in fun and interactive ways,” says Principal Despina Athanasaki.

“Importantly, all classes and activities are offered tuition-free.”
