The Panathinaikos Fan Club of Melbourne (PFC of Melbourne) recently organised a fundraiser dinner that was an all-out success, raising $1600 in donations for AGAPI Care Inc. (AGAPI Care). This not-for-profit organisation delivers tailored services and supports to people with disabilities in Victoria, a noble cause that the PFC of Melbourne has been supporting for years.

The event, held at the popular taverna Ladadika in Northcote, was a night to remember. Attendees were treated to Greek music by DJ Jordan, dancing, and a raffle draw of ten prizes. The proceeds from the night went straight to AGAPI Care, contributing to their efforts to help people with disabilities.

Mr Chris Rousalis, representing PFC of Melbourne, opened the evening with a speech about AGAPI Care’s important work. He highlighted the PFC of Melbourne’s commitment to supporting the organisation and expressed his appreciation for everyone’s generosity.

Mr Panagiotis Kerasiotis, Treasurer of PFC of Melbourne, presented the cheque to AGAPI Care officials, Mr Arthur Evriniadis (President), Ms Mary Gakopoulos (Chief Executive Officer), Mr Con Kyritsis (Vice President), and Mr Tony Tsourdalakis (Member of the Committee of Management). Mr Evriniadis expressed his gratitude to the PFC of Melbourne and the community for their support, and Ms Gakopoulos added her thanks to everyone present for their ongoing contributions towards AGAPI Care.

The night was concluded with a speech from Mr Kostas Paterakis, Public Relations at PFC of Melbourne, who thanked the management of Ladadika and encouraged everyone to donate to AGAPI Care’s upcoming Radiothon. The annual event is a fantastic opportunity for anyone to donate to the organisation and support their cause. It will be held on the same day as the Grand Opening of their new Head Office at 4 Bruce Street Preston, so stay tuned for more details.

The PFC of Melbourne has proven once again that they are not just passionate about their football team, but also about giving back to the community (more details to follow soon).
