Multi-award-winning entrepreneur, property investor, and best-selling author Chris Christofi believes he can raise $100,000 in one night to assist the homeless, and is pulling out all the stops to make it happen on Friday, June 2.

Growing up with a strong work ethic in a Cypriot family, the father of four owned eight properties by the age of 24, only to lose them all due to a collapsed partnership. At the age of 25, he started his business, Reventon, with $348,000 worth of debt, operating from his parents’ house. Reventon is one of Australia’s most well-known property and finance companies, having assisted over 3,000 individuals in purchasing property. Their services include property investment, property management, mortgage and finance, and tax and accounting. Chris has consistently been a top fundraiser for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout for the past five years and is dedicated to helping Australians in need escape the hardships of homelessness.

Since 2018, he has raised over $550,000 for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout.

Later this year, Christofi plans to auction off a home, with all proceeds dedicated to helping the homeless, in support of St Vincent de Paul.

With a steadfast determination to help the homeless, the Melbourne businessman is on a mission to raise as much money as he can through his sixth consecutive participation in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout. As part of this year’s fundraising campaign, Chris has organised a charitable event in Melbourne called “Lead with Kindness”.

His goal is to be among the top three fundraisers in Australia.

The much-anticipated event will take place at the exquisite Le Ceil function center in Cremorne, Melbourne’s hottest event space. It will feature an evening of delectable food, refreshing drinks, and auctions, all aimed at raising funds to combat homelessness in Australia. The event will run from 7pm until 11.30pm, followed by an after-party at Bar Bambi. Attendees will be treated to captivating performances by singer Jessica Duchesne, musician Frankie Sax, and the extraordinary magician Lucas Kogaki. Culinary delights from the Oyster Butler and refreshing drinks from Mister Bartender will add to the evening’s allure.

To make this event possible, Christofi has partnered with Uniq Group and its founder, Veki Brdjanin, as well as Hermitage Homes, to attract a diverse crowd of over 250 people from all walks of life. The auction will showcase an array of enticing items, including a hand-signed soccer boot by Christiano Ronaldo, an autographed guitar by Ed Sheeran, a signed boxing glove by Mike Tyson, a cricket ball and baggy green cap signed by Shane Warne, a basketball signed by Michael Jordan, a boxing robe signed by Muhammad Ali, a racing helmet signed by Valentino Rossi, driving gloves hand-signed by Michael Schumacher, a singlet signed by Magic Johnson of the LA Lakers, vinyl records signed by Taylor Swift and Kylie Minogue, boots and jersey signed by Lionel Messi, a helicopter ride over Melbourne, and a private chef experience for 10 with Chef Kaela.

“I am excited to host a night filled with exquisite food, sensational live entertainment, and an opportunity to encourage Melbourne’s influential figures to contribute to a worthy cause,” said Christofi. “Let us come together, united, to create a real impact. The name of the event says it all—Lead with Kindness—an important reminder of the significance of giving back to those in need.”

Christofi further stressed the humbling experience of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, “Stepping into someone else’s shoes and being stripped of everything in the middle of winter is a massive reality check. It highlights the difficulties faced by so many people and reminds us not to judge but to show kindness.”

Ticket sales will be considered charitable donations and are tax deductible.
