This Sunday, July 2, a significant gathering in support to the Voice is expected to take place at the Victorian Trades Hall in Carlton, Melbourne.

The “Come Together for Yes” event, scheduled to begin at 11 am, aims to bring people together to publicly express their support for Indigenous recognition through a Voice to Australia’s Parliament. This Melbourne event is part of a nationwide mobilisation of the Yes campaign, uniting individuals from all corners of the country.

The Greek-Australian community, which has shown immense solidarity with the cause will once again be present.

Over 300 Greek-Australians have lent their support by signing a statement released earlier this year on January 26, advocating for the constitutional recognition of First Nations people.

They will be among the diverse crowd of attendees at the Victorian Trades Hall, passionately voicing their commitment to Indigenous recognition.

The Come Together for Yes event aims to create an inclusive platform for all Australians to join hands and advocate for a more inclusive and equitable future.

Attendees are encouraged to join the gathering, spread the word, and show their support for the Voice, reconciliation, and a better future.

“Look out for the event’s banner as you arrive, and together, let us stand united and say YES to Indigenous recognition, fostering reconciliation, and shaping a brighter tomorrow for all,” – Marietta Kokkas, Kostas Karamarkos, Theo Markos.
