The Victorian Multicultural Commission is calling on all torchbearers of diversity, harmony, and acceptance to nominate for the Victorian Multicultural Awards for Excellence (MAEs). MAEs are back for their 22nd year, shining a spotlight on those who have fostered cross-cultural understanding and supported migrant, refugee, and asylum seeker communities in Victoria.
It is important for Greek Australian organisations – welfare, arts, and community – to nominate who they believe has done most to augment cross-cultural harmony, and acceptance.
With an array of 15 award categories this year, the MAEs recognise achievements spanning arts, education, business, and more. Notably, the 2023 ceremony will introduce the Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll, applauding local diversity champions for their contributions to safe and connected communities.
Nominations are open now, giving you the chance to honour those who have made a profound impact on our multicultural society. Let’s celebrate diversity and promote unity by acknowledging these remarkable individuals and organisations. Together, we can build a brighter and more inclusive future for Victoria. Submit your nominations today.
