The reason behind the sudden visit of SYRIZA’s newly-elected leader to New York has been revealed, according to Proto Thema Greek newspaper. Stefanos Kasselakis is said to have announced to the top officials of the opposition party that he is getting married today, as reported by the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA.
Almost all Greek news outlets have since reported the news, confirming the SYRIZA has collectively sent its wishes.
Specifically, Proto Thema said: “The wedding will take place in New York, with Mr Kasselakis informing the top officials, at his suggestion, in the Political Secretariat, stating that he went to America for this reason.
“Meanwhile, the holiday home where Stefanos Kasselakis and his partner, Tyler Macbeth, are staying in New York is owned jointly, according to sources from Koumoundourou (SYRIZA headquarters).The president of SYRIZA has reportedly been there for the last 24 hours.
According to images broadcast by MEGA Channel, it is a house in the suburbs with an outdoor pool surrounded by greenery.
The entire property they own includes a private lake, and as noted on an online platform, there is a functioning animal farm that offers fresh products for purchase.
However, when Stefanos Kasselakis and his partner are away from New York, they rent one of the two apartments they jointly own for $1,500 per night.
A few months ago, Tyler Macbeth posted that residents would have access to personal assistance 24/7.
“The host will be at the guests’ disposal throughout their stay.
