Alexandra Mastropetros, the former lover of convicted gang rapist Mohammed Skaf, has appeared before court in Sydney.

Mastropetros faced the Bankstown Local Court on Thursday, facing sentence for stalking and intimidating Skaf, and smuggling $100,000 worth of drugs into prison.

The 32-year-old was accompanied by her husband, who swore at media waiting outside the court building.

While he called media a “f**king dog”, she looked away from the camera as they walked into the building.

The man, who she married in April, also stuck up his middle finger to the camera before entering.

Mastropetros has admitted to calling her former partner to “highly suggest” he withdraw a statement he made to police at Greenacre, back in May.

Skaf, who served 22 years in prison and was released recently, was the ringleader of a wave of notorious gang raps in Sydney’s southwest in 2000. He was jailed with several others, including his brother Bilal.

The two started dating when he got out, but just a year and a half after his prison release, it is reported he began to fear for his life.

Mastropetros has pleaded guilty to her charges against Skaf and to a charge for supplying a prohibited drug after she was caught with 4.86g of methamphetamine.

One charge for allegedly intimidating a witness was withdrawn.

She currently awaits sentencing in court.
