A Greek Legends tribute concert is coming to Sydney.
The musical phenomenon returns in its third year of touring and promises to be bigger and better than previous iterations.
This concert will feature more than 50 musicians, singers and dancers paying tribute to The Greek legends of the 20th Century, showcasing the Greek influence on modern pop, rock and classical music.
The artistry of Vangelis, Cat Stevens, Nana Mouskouri, Demis Roussos, George Michael and Maria Callas will be bought to life by a host of national and international singers and musicians, headlined by the critically acclaimed Penny Pavlakis.
Also showcased will be the music by the likes of Theodorakis, kazandzidis, Marinella, Dalaras, Alexiou and more.
Under the direction of artistic director Penny Pavlakis and musical directors Manolis Micalakis (Greek songs) and Dylan Weberbauer (English songs).
Some of the show highlights will include “The 8 Bouzouki Spectacular”, “The Cretan and Pontian war dancers”, “The Ten Sopranos” and the Greek Legends Orchestra.
The concert will take place at the State Theatre in Sydney on Saturday April 20, 2024.
