The graduation ceremony and presentation of plaques unfolded last Tuesday for the Class of 2023 at Homer College, attended by parents, students and educators.
The event took place at the picturesque Beachcomber Cafe by the seaside in Saint Kilda.
The occasion, doubling as a festive Christmas party filled with music, singing, and dancing, saw the graduates receiving their well-deserved diplomas and commemorative plaques.
Particularly notable were the outstanding achievements of three students who secured scores exceeding 40:
Veloudia Vezou: 42
George Vasileiadis: 40 (with a perfect score of 50 in Biology)
Katerina Mitraka: 40
In addition, special recognition was bestowed upon:
George Tsipos: 36
Georgia Volakaki: 33
As the event concluded, graduate George Vasileiadis conveyed his gratitude to all educators who played a vital role over the years in fostering the Greek language and culture during this enriching journey.
