Stefanos Tsitsipas kicked off his campaign for a second consecutive Los Cabos title with a dominant performance, defeating Aleksandar Vukic 6-3, 6-0 in just 64 minutes.

The Greek star secured his spot in the quarter-finals of the Los Cabos Open with a powerful display of skill and determination.

Tsitsipas, the reigning champion, showcased his mastery on the court, winning 13 out of 19 points on his second serve and saving all three break points he faced.

He broke Vukic’s serve four times, demonstrating his ability to control the game from start to finish.

Despite facing a double break point in the opening game, Tsitsipas held his serve and quickly found his rhythm.

He capitalised on break opportunities in the fourth game to take a commanding lead, ultimately winning the first set 6-3.

The second set was a display of Tsitsipas’ dominance, as he lost only two points on serve and broke Vukic three times to clinch the set 6-0.

With this victory, Tsitsipas remains undefeated in singles matches in Los Cabos.

In the quarter-finals, Tsitsipas will face American Aleksandar Kovacevic, marking their first official meeting on the tour.

Meanwhile, Thanasi Kokkinakis, who has struggled with his form this year, bounced back with a hard-fought victory over Jack Draper.

After a disappointing start to the season, Kokkinakis’ win in the opening round of the Los Cabos Open signals a positive turnaround in his fortunes on the ATP Tour.
