The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW is set to highlight the creativity of our youngsters as they hold an awards ceremony for those who participated in its first ever Greek Youth Creative Arts Competition.
The awards ceremony, organised as part of the Greek Festival of Sydney, will be held at the Chau Chak Wing Museum of the University of Sydney on Sunday 28 April at 2pm, celebrating the artistic skills of our youth.
The competition ran from last December until March with the theme “Greece Within Me” as various youngsters within the age range of 12-24 submitted entries showcasing their skills in arts, writing and music.
The submissions have been divided into three age categories (12-15, 16-18 and 19-24) with the upcoming awards ceremony to recognise the winners of the competition of each bracket as well as more broadly the talent shown from all participants.
The free to attend event does require any interested guests to book in advance.
