During his four-day visit to Athens, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met with Alison Duncan, the Ambassador of Australia to Greece, on Thursday, April 18.
The meeting centered around the Patriarch’s upcoming visit to Australia, scheduled for October, which will conclude the centennial celebrations of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia.
The Australian Embassy’s social media post highlighted that this visit will be the Ecumenical Patriarch’s second to Australia in his role and the first in nearly thirty years.
