On Thursday, St John’s College’s Junior School got together to mark Orthodox Easter, highlighting faith, tradition and culture.
Federal Member for Cooper Ged Kearney MP attended the assembly to wish the students “Kalo Pascha” and a happy Easter.
Student class representatives spoke confidently about their Term 2 learning thus far, followed by two of the students taking the community on a journey through Holy Week with a special video.
The assembly concluded with a traditional Easter hat parade, which was a vibrant display of faith, Greek tradition and culture.
“Well done to all our students on their crafty creations,” the school said in a media release.
“We take this opportunity to wish our students, parents, staff and the whole community a blessed Easter! Kalo Pascha! Kali Anastasi!”
