The Modern Greek Teachers’ Association of Victoria (MGTAV) are aiming to foster collaboration and professional growth within the Greek teaching community.

With that comes the announcement that its annual conference will return this year, scheduled for Sunday June 2 at St John’s College in Preston.

This year’s conference will see a line-up of educators including Niki Farfara, Chrisoula Papas, Teresa De Fazio, Olimpia Rosenblum, Elena Pirovano, Maria Dikaiou, Terri De Batissta, Yiota Stavridou, and Kristian Raspa.

It will also workshops presented by musician Nicholas Kapralos and dancing teacher Evangelos Skouros.

MGTAV are seeking participation from Greek language teachers from various schools, offering members an opportunity to engage with the presenters for $50, with special rates available for tertiary members at $40 and members employed in government schools at $30. Non-members can attend for $80.
