Panathinaikos has secured a spot in the Euroleague final after a decisive win against Fenerbahce in the first semifinal on Friday.
The Greens will now face Real Madrid, who triumphed over Olympiacos, in the final on Sunday in Berlin.
Despite pre-game tensions between Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce fans, which resulted in several Turks being arrested for attacking Greeks, the Greens remained focused on the court.
Panathinaikos delivered a commanding performance, winning 73-57.
The six-time champions dominated from the start, jumping to a 12-0 lead in the first five minutes.
Even when Fenerbahce closed the gap to one point (51-50), Panathinaikos’ resilience and strong defense ensured a comfortable victory.

Panathinaikos finished the game with a 22-7 run, securing their place in the final. Mathias Lessort led the team with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Kendrick Nunn added 14 points, and Jerian Grant contributed 13 points.
In the second semifinal, Olympiacos faced a formidable Real Madrid team. Real Madrid’s unstoppable first half performance, which saw Olympiacos conceding 56 points, set the tone for their 87-76 victory.
Olympiacos struggled in the first half, trailing by as much as 25 points (54-29). Despite a second-half comeback that cut the deficit to eight points (77-69), Real Madrid’s superiority was clear.
Alec Peters scored 23 points for Olympiacos, Shaquielle McKissic added 17, and Nigel Williams-Goss contributed 15 points. However, Olympiacos’ front line struggled, disappointing their fans who were the majority at the Uber Arena.
With Real Madrid set to defend their title, Panathinaikos will aim to claim their seventh Euroleague championship on Sunday.
