AGAPI Care celebrated Sunday of the Disabled at their head office in Preston, marking the farewell to their fundraising Radiothons.
The event began with Agapi Care extending gratitude to 3XY Radio Hellas – Ta Nea, Nafsika Stamoulis Foundation, Neos Kosmos, sponsors, and dedicated current and past volunteers and presenters for their unwavering support over the past 30 years.
An acknowledgement of the presence of the AGAPI Care family followed, including the Committee of Management, dedicated staff, volunteers, clients, caregivers, families, and the community.
Several guest speakers recounted AGAPI Care’s journey:

Awards were presented to 3XY Radio Hellas – Ta Nea, the Nafsika Stamoulis Foundation, and AGAPI Care for their dedication and involvement over the past 30 years.

“It’s a pleasure to support your family; it’s what we do, it’s what we are, and it’s why we are here. We are here to help, and our door is always open. AGAPI Care will always be a safe place for our clients and the community,” Evriniadis said.
Mary Gakopoulos thanked all attendees who joined the farewell celebration.
“We want to give something back to the community, and this is our way of saying thank you,” she said, thanking event sponsors Top Gun Collision Centre and Windsor Management Insurance Brokers for their continued support.
