Customers of Greek run businesses Dig if U will and Mig Collection may notice a scissor lift in front of their shared shop in Oakleigh, marking the beginning of a new project.
Both businesses have jointly commissioned a mural by one of Australian artist Danielle Weber.
Weber’s previous work includes high-profile projects such as the Matildas mural at Bondi, artwork for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s global premiere of the Black Adam movie, and a commissioned portrait by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Her extensive experience includes works for high-net-worth dwellings and businesses.
In a media release, the business owners said they were honoured she could do this project within her busy schedule.

“We are super pumped to collaborate with Danielle Webber and achieve our dream for our new retail location,” said Vaya Giagtzis, owner of Dig if U will.
“Her exceptional talent and local roots make this project incredibly special for us and our community.”
The two businesses want to enhance their presence in Oakleigh while celebrating local talent, with Webber being from the area, it adds a layer of community pride to the project.
“We love our Oakleigh community and are excited to elevate our premises using local talent,” said Fay Anagnostopoulos, owner of Mig Collections.
“We can’t wait for everyone to see the transformation.”
Both customer and community members are being encouraged to visit the site at 22A Atherton Road, Oakleigh, to watch the progress of the project.
