Greece’s ‘Lord of the Rings’ Lefteris Patrounia, has concluded his competitive preparations for the Paris Olympics with a stunning performance at the test event and international gymnastics tournament in Ghent.
Petrounias earned an impressive 15.133 points in his routine, achieving the highest score in Europe this year.
Guided by his coach, Dimitris Raftis, Petrounias will continue his intensive training in Belgium. The countdown to the Olympic Games, scheduled from July 26 to August 11, has begun, and Petrounias aims to secure his third Olympic medal.
Petrounias’ Olympic journey includes a gold medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics and a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. His remarkable achievements and consistent excellence in gymnastics have solidified his status as a leading athlete on the international stage.
