Greek singer Marina Satti has released a new music video for her song ‘Ah, Thalassa’ (Oh, Sea), shedding light on the refugee crisis in Greece.

Satti visually invests the song and closes the fences, life jackets and fragments of human life floating in the seas.

She pays tribute to the at least 29,984 documented people who have lost their lives in the Mediterranean in the last decade alone – including 1,274 children.

The Eurovision 2024 performer turns the spotlight on ongoing and often forgotten issue, with respect to the thousands of victims of wars, persecution, violence who did not find refuge in new lands.

Following her Eurovision participation, Satti has climbed the international charts, with her hit song LALALALA breaking records.

Satti and Madhouse Records will donate all proceeds from the release of the music-video to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), helping refugee children in need.
