Nominations for the National Multicultural Youth Awards are now open until August 31, showcasing the contributions of multicultural youth to Australian society.
The Multicultural Youth Awards recognise and celebrate the contributions of young people who live in Australia and come from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their voices and accomplishments are seen, known, and honoured.
Those eligible must be 16-25 years old, come from a culturally diverse background and live in Australia (for individuals) or be part of a community or volunteer organisation, service provider, government agency or business nominated for a specific project, program or initiative.
Categories include Entrepreneur of the Year, Sportsperson of the Year, Academic Excellence Award, Creative and Performing Arts Award, Young Apprentice/Vocational Award, Young Woman of the Year, Young Leader of the Year, Young Influencer of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and much more.
Winners will be announced at Parliament House Victoria in October.
