State League 1 – North West Group

The much-hyped clash between Western Suburbs and Yarraville ended in a draw, with both teams earning a single point. Looks like they both need to up their game for some real action. Next weekend, Western Suburbs will be locking horns with Geelong at home, while Yarraville will have the pleasure of hosting Whittlesea United. Things are about to get interesting.

The match between Clifton Hill and Geelong was postponed. Get ready for a showdown as the Brimbank stallions take on Clifton Hill for matchday 18.

State League 1 – Southeast Group

Aris South Springvale dominated the weekend with a smashing performance. They triumphed over Old Scotch with a 5-1 victory and now have their sights set on the Springvale White Eagles, a high-stakes derby match. With a win, Aris could soar to second place in the standings.

Malvern City’s winning streak is like a train without brakes. The Greek Australian squad crushed the leading Eltham Redbacks 2-1, bringing them a mere nine points from the top and just four from the second spot, held by the White Eagles. Next up, they’ll take on Mazenod.

State League 2 – North West Group

The weekend was anything but victorious for Westvale Olympic and Altona East. While Westvale was left tied with Whittlesea Rangers in a 1-1 draw, PAOK suffered a crushing 5-3 loss to Albion Rovers. Let’s hope their next matches against Lalor United and Uni Hill Eagles bring better results.

Mill Park’s match against Geelong Rangers was postponed. For Matchday 18, the Greek Australian team will be hosting Hume United.

State League 2 – Southeast Group

The Bayside Argonauts couldn’t quite capture the victory with a 2-4 loss on their home turf against Knox City. Looks like they’ll have to take their revenge against Mooroolbark as their next challenger.

Chisholm United took charge and showed Mooroolbark who’s boss with a 5-0 victory. Next up, the Oakleigh club will strut their stuff against Greater Dandenong.

The Cobras took a sting to the ego with a 2-0 loss against Doncaster Rovers. Their redemption opportunity awaits against North Caulfield.

State League 4 – Eastern Group

Waverley Wanderers obliterated Monbulk Rangers with a score of 5-0. Up next, the “Yellow and Black” will face Boronia.

State League 4 – Northern Group

Apollon Darebin scored a delicious victory on the road, with a 1-2 result. In their next game, the Greek-Australian squad will take their talents elsewhere and face off against Melbourne University.

West Preston came up short with a 5-3 loss to the Plenty Valley Lions, but they’re determined to take on their next prey, Docklands Athletic at their own turf.

State League 5 – Eastern Group

East Kew triumphed over Whitehorse United in a nail-biting 0-1 victory. Up next, Olympiacos will be putting on a show as they host Old Ivanhoe.

State League 5 – Northern Group

Looks like Keon Park got starstruck at home and took a beating from the Heidelberg Stars with a 1-3 loss. But hey, there’s always the next match against Melbourne University, so chin up A.E.K.
